The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Day in Photos

I was working from home today so I just wanted to share some pics I took. This was the boys at snack time. They know they have to stay in the kitchen, so they get as close to the living area as they can so see the tv.

I took this picture so that you can see how Reese looks out of the corner of his eyes to see things far away. We go back to the eye doctor in August.

And how can I forget lunch.. fish sticks with KETCHUP!!!

You are so smart to make your children stay in the kitchen. Our carpet is trashed because of sippy cups that aren't supposed to leak (but do).

Yes, your parents and my parents are in PA - Mom said she asked Sylvia who was keeping her grands this week! :) We sure miss them when they are gone - and not just for watching our kids!

Great training! I feel like I say "We only eat in the kitchen" about a million times a day. Especially to Miss Emma!
