The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

A Day Out with Thomas

The boys and my parents and I went to see Thomas the Tank Engine on Saturday in Calera. We have been the past 3 years. The boys really enjoyed it, including my dad.

This was Reese seeing Thomas for the first time.

We rode the train.

We had a great day full of memories!
Here is Brooks the past three years.

2007

and 2008

I look forward to more great memories like this!

I love Reese's face!!! You were just like five miles from my house. I took David when he was three and he absolutely loved it. It is a fun day!

We have taken Todd before. He is not in to Thomas now, but when he was he loved it! What a precious face on Reese. It was fun to see your dad, too!
