The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Happy Birthday!

Today is Erika's Birthday. In her honor I would like to share some pictures. Carrie did this for me on my birthday and it meant so much to me! It is always wonderful to walk down memory lane and think back to those special times that helped shape our adolesence. I hope these pictures will put a smile on her face, and my fellow high-school bloggers too. (I wished I had time to find some more pictures, but I grabbed these as I was running out of the house this morning.)

What is up with my bangs?

Aren't we all cute at our chorus performance!

I don't know what to say about this picture! Kristin is excited about something!

Hope you have a great day!

Oh, we were all so young. And skinny. Thanks for the laugh! I totally do not remember the toilet picture.

So funny! I am glad Monica had her Bible in the toilet picture!

I remember that picture. For whatever reason (bible study with Monica???) we wanted a picture of all of us in the toilet stall. We had to do something for fun on that chorus trip, right? Enjoyed the memories...

I'll have to show Copeland the picture of Monica. She's his teacher, ya know. He loves her! She really has a gift... I love seeing old high school pics. I don't have a scanner, but I need one.
