The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Great Saturday

We started our day eating green eggs. (Sorry we didn't have any ham.) Reese asked for red eggs instead, which turned out to be a little on the pink side. I don't know what the boys thought of them..Brooks looks like they are the best things he has ever put in his mouth!!

Then I dropped off Brooks at his first school friend's birthday party. He had a wonderful time. While he was there, I met several fellow bloggers for lunch. We had a wonderful time and decided to do it again after the holidays. The children that were there had a wonderful time getting to know one another. Since Kristi linked everyone's blog from her blog, I will be lazy and just link you to hers.
Then we finished our afternoon by playing outside on the swing set. That picture is funny to me because Reese was not looking at me on purpose, but laughing about it because he thought it was so funny to not look at me.

Have a great weekend!!!!

Kate swings on her chest, too. She almost would rather swing that way... I'm so glad you got to come yesterday. And, I'm really glad we all had a good time!

Good egg idea. I got the Deceptively Delicious cookbook for Christmas last year and I hide pureed cauliflour(sp)? and wheat germ in their eggs. They have no idea. I think I will try the green and add some pureed spinach.
They have gotten extemely pickey and will not eat any veggies. :0

I guess Emma sat by Reese tonight. She was so excited to tell me all about it. She has a favorite cousin named Reese, so your Reese probably is her automatic favorite person in Bible class!
