The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

School Bus Ride

Reese's K4 class is not allowed to go on field trips because of the car seat issue. Because of that, they don't get to ride on the school bus until they get older.

Well, this week they are studying the letter "S" at school. Today they got to go on a school bus ride around the school one time. Isn't that great? I am sure my ACA friends reading this can picture it now.

I was emailed this picture and can't wait to hear what Reese has to say about it!

This picture illustrates the song "Jesus Loves the Little Children"! Is this the friend he traded shoes with?

They rode around the parking lot?????????? Funny thing about it is that those kids probably thought that was the best thing EVER!!!! :)

They drove a lap around the school:)
Reese told me they sang "The Wheels on the Bus" but had to sing it quietly because you're not supposed to be loud on a school bus. He had a blast!

This is really funny! A trip around the school and singing "The Wheels on the Bus" how can it get more exciting? I am glad he loved it and it reminds me of how little things excite children.
