Brooks' birthday is in the summer. When school started I asked Mrs. K if it would be ok if I brought some treats for the children one day to "celebrate" Brooks' birthday. I didn't want him to miss out on the fun! So we decided to celebrate his half-birthday this past Friday.
This was Mrs. K explaining that it we were just celebrating his birthday. She then asked him which birthday song he wanted them to sing to him. Decisions, Decisions!

I still think it is funny that Monica is his teacher. Does she even look pregnant? It is funny how much that age loves birthday hats!
Okay - Monica is skinnier than I am, and she's pregnant. Is it wrong to envy the skinnyness of a pregnant woman? It just doesn't seem right.
And what a great idea - David has a June birthday, and he has never gotten to celebrate it at school. Cute idea.
Happy Half Birthday!! What a great idea!!
Ditto on all the great ideas!! Smart mommy!
I thought the same about Monica. Happy 1/2 b-day Brooks!
Thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday and for leaving a comment while you were there :o)
It is nice having 4 different seasons....winter gets a little long sometimes though.
That is a sweet idea to give him a big day at school. Some people I know celebrate December birthdays in the summer, and I think that's a neat idea too.
