The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Sticks!

What is it about sticks?

Son number 1 loves them.

Son number 2 loves them.

They are useful for digging in ant beds.

Even "son" number 3 loves them. Although technically he would be son number 1.

I just don't get it.

They also make good guns and pretend campfires. Sticks are the greatest free toy in the world. And my girl loves them as much as any boy. Okay - what kind of dog do you have? He looks strikingly similar to Buddy, and we still don't really know what all he has in him.

Todd loves rocks like that, too. I guess it is cheap so we can be glad about that!
