The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Pizza with Santa

Last week Brooks and Reese went to eat Pizza with Santa. All of the children dress up in their pajamas and get to make wonderful crafts.

Here is Brooks making snow.

Here is Reese making snow.
Reese attempting to make a bracelet.
Austin and Brooks working on bracelets.

Brooks and friends decorating their bags that held the reindeer food.
The children listening to Santa. They had a wonderful time.

Now we are just dealing with one sick little 3 year old. He has a sinus infection, bronchitis, and two ear infections. The stuff in his ears is coming out his eyes. (Sorry if that was TMI!) It looks like he isn't going to get to be with the rest of the family tonight. At least he isn't really old enough to know what he is missing. We hope to then go to Nana and Grandad's on Christmas day, but those plans are up in the air right now.

I hope everyone has a safe and WELL Christmas!
