The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

That little man!

I will try and post the pictures from our trip to North Georgia this weekend. In the mean time, I will give you these two jewels from Brooks.

Last Wednesday night, Brooks told me he had a new girlfriend. I asked him how this happened and he said, "She had on this good smelling coconut stuff. We talked about it and decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend."

Yesterday before church, I caught him in the bathroom looking at his face really closely in the mirror. He said, "Mom! I need to shave! Look at all of these hairs under my nose." I said, "Everyone has that hair, you will have to be a lot older before you can start shaving."

Help me now!

So that is the key to his heart...good smelling coconut stuff♥ Little boys are so special - when Kirk was about 4 he told me he was going to marry me when he grew up. It was one of the sweetest things and I just didn't have the heart to tell him he couldn't. You are blessed with your 2 and I know you know that!
