The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Ball field fun!

Reese doesn't go to all of Brooks' baseball games. Some nights the games don't end until well into the 8 o'clock hour. That is late for my kiddos. So the saturday games are a treat for Reese. He has his little group of friends that he likes to play with.

They seem to be very intent on looking at something! I wonder what it could be? (And yes, Reese plays with Brooks' helmet on, while Brooks isn't using it. When he asks to wear it, I always say yes, because it is more protection against something like this happening again.)

Hmmm. They are still not divulging what they have in their hands. I am so curious.

"Reese, what do you have in your hand"?

Well a frog.

That is just great. I am so "happy" that you found it. I am sure this frog will never be the same.
