The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Christmas in July!

Julie and I (well really more Julie) hosted a Christmas in July party this past weekend at my house.
"Why Christmas in July?" you might ask. Because....that's why.
We asked everyone to bring either a favorite Christmas time appetizer or dessert, along with the recipe to share with everyone. Julie had wonderful games for everyone to play that really made it a fun time for all.
We both commented that we had such a good time because it was a Christmas party, without all the business of the Christmas season.
So Merry Christmas in July!
A special gift from a special lady.
I have some pictures of all the great girls, but there were too many to share.
THANKS JULIE FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!

I can't get over how much Julie looks like your aunt! And I have those same kitchen chairs. :)
