Friday night I went to a consignment sale, via a guest pass, thanks to my good friend Julie. I think as far as the sales go, I have finally gotten to the point where I don't find any good things anymore. They have some things for Brooks' age, and I did get a couple of items, but overall there is less and less cute things, the older he gets. I guess that is what it is going to be like at any store though. Boys clothes are just less interesting than girls clothes. (This is coming from a girl that grew up wearing dresses to school and bows in my hair.) And as far as Reese is concerned, there are lots of things in his size, but he can wear everything that used to fit Brooks. Luckily, he is hitting everything Brooks did in the correct season. Now don't get me wrong, I love consignment sales, and if you have little girls to shop for, it is a dream come true! Sometimes I am glad that I don't have to get in the mob of people looking through the girl stuff.
I don't know why I went into all that.
Saturday night I rented Pride and Prejudice, and I watched it for the first time. I LOVED IT! I never read the book and I believe that I need to go pick up a copy and start on it! It was a wonderful love story that, even though it was written over 200 years ago, all is still relevant today. Why am I typing all this? I dare say that everyone that reads this has either read the book, or watched the movie. I am just a little slow sometimes.

That book wasn't on our list in high school. I just finished reading Little Women (less Cliff notes) and it was wonderful. But, it was a long read. I don't think I would have been able to read it and comprehend it in high school! I may have to pick up P and P!
You have got to read Pride and Prejudice!!!!! I love Jane Austin, and I am not really much of a reader. It is wonderful. This makes me want to read it again.
