The South

Where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y’all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy; everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed. -unknown

Arlington Cemetery

We went to Arlington Cemetery and saw President Kennedy's gravesite, and then we also saw the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was amazing. Because that took so long, we decided to take a night tour of the city. It was just as amazing as the first tour we went on. Tomorrow we are planning on going to the National Air and Space museum, and then to the Holocaust museum.
I am already planning when I can come back, and who I can bring back with me!
